The shinobi arts of Taijutsu and Bukijutsu rarely often make use of chakra unless needed to enhance the effects of their weapon, thus when performing fighting styles and thrown combinations the user is relying on the body which is where stamina is used in exchange for chakra. Unlike with running out of chakra, running out of stamina does not mean certain death, but it does create a stat reduction.
